The data base search will give you only the common name/latin name, Coefficients of conservatism and currently available details. If there is no coefficient number assigned this usually means that the species is "na" for your region. There may have been a name change or the species in your region may be a variety or subspecies. For more detailed information please click the printable PDF view of the database list, see above."
HINT: with Latin nomenclature changing rapidly you may be able to find the more recent synonym for a species by typing in part of the common name. For example, if you type in 'aster' you will be able to find the list of new Latin names for asters. |
