Educational Programs at Bowman's Hill
Wildflower Preserve

Are you an individual, family or group interested in learning more about what you'll see on the trails?

Are you a home gardener who wants to find out about planting natives in your yard?

Are you a teacher or school group eager for semi-structured, yet stimulating, learning time in nature?

Are you a professional landscape/land manager searching for access to reliable information about native plants and ecological land use?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above, the Preserve will put outstanding programs at your fingertips.

Education is key to our mission, and we actively use our 134-acre site as a resource to display and interpret a collection of nearly 800 Pennsylvania native plant species growing in naturalistic settings.

Choose from among a broad spectrum of informative and engaging programs offered throughout the year for all ages. Educational activities include classes and workshops, tours and group programs, school group tours, offsite programs, Symposium, exhibits and special events.

Preserve members receive a discount on programs.

If you prefer to explore the Preserve on your own, we also have trail maps and other resources to enrich your visit. Go to Discover and Enjoy to find out more.
