Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve's Spring Garden Gala Wild about Flowers celebrates the seventh year of this unique fundraiser. Put on your "black tie and muck boots" and join us for an elegant evening in the woods at the Preserve. The 2010 Spring Garden Gala will be held on Saturday, April 24 from 5 to 10 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Preserve's conservation and educational programs. Click Here to see photos from previous Galas Click Here to see the menu! Chairpersons Sally Henriques and Tina Greenwood, along with the Gala Committee, have planned a one-of-a-kind evening. Wild about Flowers is an extraordinary opportunity to experience the Preserve’s unparalleled collection of plants native to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the Delaware Valley Region. Guests can explore the beauty of the Preserve on an enchanted woodland wildflower walk, and enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing. Max Hansen Caterers will present culinary delights. Bob Egan will provide music. Rusty Thomas, of Event Designs, Bucks County, will create décor reflective of the Preserve's natural splendor. Live and silent auctions will feature exceptional plants, distinctive dining experiences, private garden tours, artwork and more. Larry Keller, New Hope mayor and owner of Hobensack & Keller, will serve as the auctioneer. Garden ornaments and plants also will be offered for purchase. The Gala will take place at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, located on 1635 River Road approximately 2-1/2 miles south of New Hope, Pennsylvania and convenient to I-95. Tickets are $175 per person. Patron tickets are $250 per person; patrons will be acknowledged in the Gala program. As part of our on-going efforts to be environmentally responsible and fiscally prudent, this year we are reducing the number of invitations that we send to our 2010 Gala.
