2006 Native Plant Sale & Catalog
New Hope, Pennsylvania –The 2006 Spring Native Plant Sale at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is the premier place in the Delaware Valley to buy plants native to our region. Over 200 species of high-quality native wildflowers, vines, ferns, shrubs and trees are offered for sale in time for spring planting.
All plants are nursery-propagated; none are wild-collected.
The Spring Native Plant Sale is open to the public on Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14 through the weekend of Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The Sale takes place at the Preserve’s Visitor Center, located on 1635 River Road, New Hope, Pennsylvania.
Members’ Day Spring Native Plant Sale will be held on Friday, May 12. Only Preserve members are admitted to this exclusive opportunity to buy plants before the sale opens to the public. At 1 p.m., members are invited to attend by Nursery Manager Bill Lamack, who will showcase featured plants from the sale in an hour-long slide presentation. The sale itself is open from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Memberships can be purchased at the Preserve before, or on the day of, Members’ Day sale, or in advance by phone (215) 862-2924.
Knowledgeable staff and volunteers will be on hand to help attendees choose the most suitable plants for their sites and to answer questions. Free resource material is available, including plant lists for specific growing conditions.
Two special displays - one of native plants to attract birds and one of native plants for dry, shady sites – will provide ideas for gardeners and landscapers.
Selected plants also are available during the growing season.

Please note that we do not ship plants. Also, we do not accept pre-orders or reserving of plants.
The Native Plant Sale Catalog contains a common name index, an alphabetical listing of plants by botanical name, and descriptions of each species, including bloom color, bloom time, cultural needs and other useful information.
