Gala Chairperson Mrs. Jane McNeill, Chair Emeritus Mrs. Sue Shaffer and the Gala Committee have planned an extraordinary evening. New this year: The live auction will be led by Larry Keller, New Hope Mayor and proprietor of Hobensack and Keller; the evening will include dancing to the live music of the Jazz Lobsters; and the event environment is being planned by Rusty Thomas (Rusty Thomas Flowers and Entertainment Design, Bucks County). Once again, Max Hansen Caterer, Gardenville, will present cocktails and a delectable buffet dinner.

Highlights of the live and silent auctions include an array of unique items; a sampling is noted here. From the world of nature come one-of-a-kind native plant collections and a private landscape consultation with Preserve Executive Director Miles Arnott. Where art and nature meet, Bob Beck will create an in situ painting of bluebells during the Gala. Art offerings also feature a tour of the private Blanchard-Hill Folk Art Collection in New York City and a Frida Howling original. Satisfy your travel urges with a stay at the Ship’s Inn in Nantucket, or closer to home, a plane ride over Bucks County. Indulge your culinary curiosity with a personalized dim sum dinner for 10. Enjoy a day in Washington from the office of Congressman Patrick Murphy (District 8). Uncommon garden statuaries, antiques and plants also will be available for purchase.
