Discover a Bounty of Birds on Saturday Morning Walks
New Hope, PA – Bowman Hill Wildflower Preserve, located on the Atlantic Flyway, is renowned for its birds as well as for its native wildflowers. Come enjoy a beautiful walk with an experienced local birding guide and learn how to identify spring songbirds as they return to the woods and meadows of the Preserve. The Preserve’s plant and habitat diversity provide nesting sites and food sources for many species of birds including warblers, thrushes, chickadees, woodpeckers, towhees, nuthatches and goldfinches.
Spring bird walks take place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday mornings from April 12 through June 14. The walks are appropriate for ages 8 through adult. Participants should meet at the Preserve Visitor Center.
The bird walk is included in the admission fee as follows: Non-members: Adults-$5, Seniors (62+)-$3, Fulltime students (15 yrs.+ with ID)-$3, Children 4 through 14-$2, Under 4-free; Preserve members are admitted free.
