Fall Plant Sale
New Hope , Pennsylvania - Fall is an ideal time for buying and transplanting native plants. Conditions are favorable for new plantings to settle in before winter - air temperatures have cooled down and soil temperatures are still warm enough to promote root growth. Fill in the gaps in your garden, expand your native plantings and get a jump on next year's garden.
Native plants enable you to create a visually beautiful and nature-friendly landscape, and the Fall Native Plant Sale at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve is the place to buy them. The Preserve will offer for sale more than 200 species of high-quality native wildflowers, vines, ferns, shrubs and trees. All plants are nursery-propagated; none are gathered from the wild.
The Fall Native Plant Sale will be held at the Visitor Center area of the Preserve on Saturdays and Sundays, September 10 and 11, and September 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Plants also will be available during the week between the sale weekends.
Knowledgeable staff and volunteers will be on hand to help you choose the most suitable plants for your site and to answer questions. Free lists of plants suited for specific growing conditions are available at the sale or click here to download these plant lists now.
