New this year: Wreath Workshop
New Hope, Pennsylvania - Bring the outdoors
in with a festive holiday wreath. In this workshop, you will
make a 16-inch-diameter wreath fashioned from fresh native
plant materials. This traditional holiday greenery wreath
will feature native material such as Eastern white pine, red
spruce and American holly, accented with pinecones and a colorful
fabric bow. The fresh evergreen scent and simple elegance
of this wreath will complement any décor.
Step-by-step demonstration and hands-on instruction will
ensure that you’ll create a beautiful and unique work
of art to display during the holidays. Miles Arnott, the Preserve’s
Executive Director, will lead the workshop. Director Arnott
previously taught popular craft classes at Callaway Gardens
in Georgia as well as at the Preserve.
This workshop will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2003
