Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve
2008 Native Plant Sales and Catalog
|
 |
Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve is the premier place in the Delaware Valley to buy plants native to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and surrounding states. Over 200 species of high-quality native wildflowers, vines, ferns, shrubs and trees are offered for sale at our Spring and Fall Native Plant Sales. All plants are nursery-propagated; none are collected from the wild.
Knowledgeable staff and volunteers at the sales can help you choose plants and answer questions. Free resource material is available, including plant lists for specific growing conditions. Download these Native Plant Information Sheets here.
Native Plant Sales are part of the Preserve's educational mission and are a fundraiser to support our programs. Selected plants also are available on site during the growing season. The Spring Native Plant Sale Catalog provides a preview list of plants that are offered on site at the Spring Sale. Please note that we do not produce a catalog for the Fall Sale. Also, we don't accept pre-orders or reserve plants.
The Native Plant Sale Catalog contains a common name index, an alphabetical listing of plants by botanical name, and descriptions of each species, including bloom color, bloom time, cultural needs and other useful information.
